Question Lenovo ThinkPad X270 screen upgrade

I have this nice X270, mtm 20hn-002ruk with a horrendous AUO 12.5HD A - 04X0324 display.
In the compatible list for this model I see the Full HD options, AUO 12.5 FHD IPS AG 2.3t - 00HN883. Does anyone know what other parts will I need to make this work (different cable, different lcd cover etc) or how I can find out?

I tried to research this a bit, but had a heck of a time really determining if the cables are interchangeable. Best I can tell, the ports look the same, but the plug is in a different place

If the laptop is still under warranty, might be a good idea to just give lenovo a call.

I'm sure the cables are interchangeable (mine has LCD cable 01AW438) and also noticed the different plug location.
What I think I need is the MTM from another X270 with the Full HD screen where I can see the P/N for the LCD cable, LCD cover etc.
