Hi,

I am thinking about buying a used PC:

Intel Core i7 3770
HEATSINK 95W/73W W/Back Plate
128 GB SSD
4x4 GB DDR3 1600MHz
ATX280W 85% Single PSU

Then I want to add graphic card - gtx 750ti or 960

I think i will need change PSU - seasonic 650W maybe

Is it good idea - editing this workstation this way?

Any experience with Lenovo thinkcenter - noise, quality...?

Thanks, Ondrej

Depends. Is it a regular ATX tower form factor, with an ATX motherboard?

If so, then you can swap the PSU out, should it lack PCIe 6-pin connectors, for a GTX 750 Ti. But, make sure the PSU and mobo are ATX, first. They used to make the towers standard MicroATX, but they don't always do that, these days...

If it's a SFF, and doesn't have a PCIe 6-pin, you'd probably be stuck with a GTX 750 low profile as the best card you could use.

If it has a PCIe 6-pin, then you should be able to use a GTX 950 with no issues (but, mind the form factor). GTX 960 might be stretching things a bit, though.

Pretty sure it's a proprietary power supply. Forget the 750Ti and just go for a GTX 750 and you should be fine.
