Lenovo Tab charging port issue

The wife has an issue with getting her tablet to charge. Micro USB port. Port is very "loose" for lack of a better word. Tried 3 or 4 different cables and even a 90 degree adapter. If you hold it just right, it will charge. Are these ports repairable, or even worth it? Any tricks I don't know about? Thanks!!

My cell phone from 2016 does the same damn thing. I've got like a few particular charging cords, that seem to have contacts that reach a little farther than most, and I have to REALLY SHOVE the charging cord on, and then VERY CAREFULLY set it down, in such a manner that there's NO TENSION on the card, or it will unplug and stop charging. REALLY ANNOYING.

Edit: Try some TOPK charging cord. Mine are nice, high-quality, braided.

Thanks for that info, Larry. Ill try a cord. A few local places want $120 and up to change the port out. I ordered her a new Lenovo. The old tablet works beautifully; just can't charge it.
