Lenovo outlet Refurb quality?

So, I want a laptop for gradschool and am liking thinkpad reviews. I've had great experience with Dell outlet and Applestore refurbs, but have never done Lenovo's outlet.

Anybody here have experience with Lenovo outlet refurbs? I'm just talking about the lenovo.com refurbs, not 3rd party, of course. Is it like dell outlet in that the laptops are almost indistinguishable from new laptops?

Refurbs are generally good, even better than production lot because they are fully tested. Production runs are often lot sampled.

As long as they come with warranty from Lenovo, and not some reseller or distributor, I would likely buy one.
