Lenovo laptop wireless driver

Alright guys, I have a Lenovo Z565 laptop, it has a crappy Broadcom 802.11n chip in it that maxes at 65mbps. That isn't the problem though. the problem is that other devices will get 20ms ping, and 25-30mbps download on speedtest.net. But this laptop will do 50ms, and no faster than 6mbps. I've checked all the settings and everything. The problem is I think, the driver is from january of 2010. But Windows update says I'm up to date, and I've seen that the original driver for these on lenovo kill download speeds. But there is no specific model number, and I can't find drivers for this thing anywhere. I can't download anything faster than 300KB/s, other devices on the same network are pushing 3.5MB/s sometimes. Please help!

I can't help you find your driver.

But I can tell you what I would do if one the users I support had complaints about speed and latency with the wireless card - I'd tell them that it's Wireless and it's susceptible to all kinds of interference that you may or may not have any control over. I never expect wireless to be reliable or consistant. Can you describe the physical environment between and around your laptop and the Access Point or Router that you're using?

My router is a Netgear WNDR3700v2 running the latest version of DD-WRT. All other wireless, and wired for that matter, devices work properly, download speeds into the 25-30mb/s range. This one is very inconsistent, but rarely tops 6. I have my other laptop, a Samsung with a Centrino AGN wireless chip right next to me, and it's download speed is right in line with what it should be.

It's a Broadcom 4727 card, can't locate drivers for it anywhere.

I am looking and have found drivers but they are all older from 8-2010

I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and buy an Intel Centrino AGN Dual-Band mini-PCIe card from Amazon for $35.
