Err... hate to break it to you but those aren't really a deal. You can probably build a better machine yourself for less...

Actually you can't. Considering that a 1TB hard drive and a Windows 7 license cost about $200 alone, that leaves $150 for a motherboard, i3 CPU, 8GB memory, optical drive, case, power supply, and keyboard/mouse...plus your time to build and configure it.

er, what is a power switch "designed for gaming"?

cnet explains:
The switch is unique to the IdeaCentre K330, and while its premise is interesting, we're not sure it's that useful. The switch features three CPU speed settings: turbo, auto, and cool mode. Sure enough, when you set it to cool mode, the quad core Core i5 2500 chip holds steady at about 1.5GHz. Dial it up to turbo, and the CPU clock speed locks in at 3.3GHz.
seems like that would plug into the board, rather than the power supply. most likely the power supply is just a standard atx unit.

frankly i'd like that so non time constrained cpu intensive stuff doesn't ramp up the clock to its peak. like DC projects.

Ah! Thank you for finding that info! Sounds like a revitalized tech from the early 90s. I remember computers when they had a turbo button. LOL!
