This one has me scratching my head.
Installed an Asus R7250X for my wife's cousin Lenovo H535-10117 (Windows 10), I also upgraded his PSU to 750W.
First time it started up it was fine, installed the drives and restarted ok. He brought it back later that afternoon because when he hooked it up at home it would get as far the spinning dots and then the monitor goes to no video detected and then goes into standby.
Removed the card, boots to windows fine. Updated the bios, went to the bios and changed the video from Auto to PEG. Installed the card again, boots fine into windows. Sent him home with it and he's been pretty happy with it for about a month or so.

Called me yesterday and said he was having issues with it freezing at the windows logo. So long story short, ended up doing a clean install of the OS. Updated all his drives, put his data back on, installed a few updates (with restarts), everything was fine.
But he called just a short while ago back to having this same no video issue after reaching the windows logo. It does finish the boot, you can hear the start up noises. Checked the BIOS, video was still set to PEG so I got him to try changing back to auto, restarting and then going back to PEG.

I've come across a few Lenovo laptops that had a whitelist when it came to certain hardware (like wireless cards). Anyone else had to do this fight?
