Question Lenovo G50-70 Bios virtualization enable issue

Hello,
I have lenovo G50-70, my bios virtualization repeatedly gets disabled. I go to the bios and enable it but when save changes and exit and again going to bios it is again disabled. Kindly help me as i am unable to create any virtual machine.

Regards

what is that and how i can check that? and what is the solution?

I added Lenovo link. You can't reset the supervisor password unless you know the current supervisor password.

The supervisor password, if set and active, is required to make changes to the bios.

Strange, I've sold a fair few Lenovos (B50-50, some ThinkPads, and others) and I've never had a problem enabling virtualisation.

I doubt that telling the BIOS to revert to default settings will help but I'd probably give it a try anyway. I'd also consider reflashing the BIOS to the same version.

Run 9acn32ww.exe thats the latest version but i have Run Run 9acn29ww.exe but my laptop didnt update the bios

Run it with admin privs? (right-click on it, run as admin)

setting BIOS defaults - it's an option normally in the BIOS's exit page/tab. Try that, save bios, reboot, go back into bios setup, change a setting and see if it sticks after saving.

You can also try using the cdrom bootable bios update. Make the CD, reboot, hit f12 during post, choose cdrom

OP, I can't decipher that mtm you posted
Machine type is 4 characters, for laptop it starts with 20

Model is 6 characters long.

Mtm should be 10 characters total
