I think the ATI cards, both 9800 series and the X800 series are about as long as the GF4 Ti4400/4600. The 6800 series is full size which means the card goes almost to the far side of a standard atx mobo. Basically they're freaking huge. The 6800's are definitely the bigger cards.

It is not as long as the Ti 4400 and the Ti 4600. In fact, it's the same size as a Radeon 8500 and even slightly shorter than our Asus GeForce3 used for comparison. On the last picture, starting in the foreground: NVIDIA Reference GeForce4 Ti 4200, ATI Radeon 8500, Asus 8200 Deluxe GeForce3, Gainward CardExpert Ultra/750XP GeForce4 Ti 4600.
