After reading this thread I went and got lemonade from Chickfila...delicious!
Welp...looks like I'll be heading to Chick-fil-A to get my fix. Another split iced tea + lemonade, a chicken sandwich, side salad with avocado lime ranch dressing, and maybe some waffle fries. 😋

Curbside pickup, of course. I always order ahead in the app. I'm in the the highest rewards tier ("red") and my status will last until August 2021. I eat way too much CFA :D

It says my lifetime points is 26,124. Honestly that seems a bit low. I think there was a reset some time over the last 4 years. Maybe after I contacted them in 2018 about my account being used for an order that wasn't me.

It seems Lemonade is also an app that sells insurance.

Since they have a pink theme it's pretty clear what interpretation they have for lemonade, and it ain't a clear carbonated beverage inside a green bottle. ;)

When in Rome...

Chips are what Americans incorrectly call French Fries....
My understanding is that 'chips' are larger than fries, more like wedges or steak fries.

But real chips come in bags in many flavors, are wafer thin, and are very crisp/crunchy.

Just had a frosted lemonade! Thank god ChickFilA is down the street from my house! Amazing! It’s finally 85 degrees in Texas!

Chick-fil-A has good fresh lemonade. I get it almost every day. Usually split with unsweet tea so I don't have quite as much sugar.
An "Arnold Palmer" split iced tea + lemonade is one of life's pleasures.

Can anyone just imagine how repulsive it would be to mix SPRITE with iced tea?

Saw Sprite "Lymonade" next to regular Sprite at a gas station soda fountain a few days ago. Maybe that's what confuses people out there.

Anyway, Truett's Grill CFA (closest CFA to me) suddenly closed a couple days ago. Heard one of their employees came down with COVID-19 but also heard it was a delivery driver so they shut down multiple locations for cleaning/disinfecting. Not sure which is true but just like nearly every Sunday I'm already craving an Arnold Palmer that I can't have. :(

... now you're telling us that different parts of the world call things by different names? What fresh level of hell is this? Fuck it, let the infected bats have the Earth, mankind clearly failed.

Not the point. Not at all.

There are places in the world where you can buy soda, but you can't find actual lemonade and people there generally do not make or consume it. Some of us find it unfathomable that anyone would deny themselves the wonderful lemon + water + sugar concoction. Fresh lemonade is far better than any carbonated soda - and it's super easy. Nothing could be easier. There's really no excuse.

Do these supermarkets have lemons? Yes?

THEN WHAT THE #%^* IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!

While I do agree those are really good I always get a weird vibe when I go in that place.

Lately I've been buying something called Florida's Natural which is pretty good. I also like Simply Lemonade a lot.

This is my latest favorite:

Lemonade to me is this:

I juice the lemons that grow next door (the limbs hang over my property).

I add ice cold water from my refrigerator.

I add a tiny bit of stevia powder and stir.

I do this in particular if it's hot and I'm thirsty.

This is how you do it. Take note, Europe / Australia / Asia.

Random fact: Limes are actually yellow like lemons. You just get crappy unripe ones when you buy them at the store due to shipping concerns. If you have your own lime tree they are infinitely better when actually ripe.

OMG, I never would have known (honest fact, no sarcasm!). Thanks! Hopefully can snag at a farmers market. Maybe see if I can plant one if it turns out they'll grow OK here and produce.
