Since the PS3 controller is rather small, I don't imagine the keypad on top will be that big of a comfort issue. But will have to try before making any decisions. Very interested in that touch pad feature of the entire keypad... so are all the buttons touch-sensitive if enabled for touch pad tracking?

I dunno. I'm holding my 360 controller right now and my thumbs conveniently reach the space at the bottom of the controller. The top...nuh uh. I have to change my grip position to get my thumbs up there. The PS3 and 360 controllers aren't that different in size.

I'd have to actually try the new keypad with the PS3 controller though.

I'd be happy to buy PS2 DL games, especially some out-of-print ones that go for $30+ on eBay.

if you just paid the $30 for the games you like, you can resell them for about the same price after many months of play. It would be cheaper than d/l'ing the game!

Problem is, those $30 games aren't the ones getting released on PSN right now. It's a little unrealistic to expect the situation to suddenly change just because they have software PS2 BC.

(*glad he has his PS3 60gb*)

The one big exception might be Castlevania SOTN, which is $9.99, as compared to $40.00 and up used on Amazon.com.

I dunno.. holding my PS3 controller, I can get my thumbs comfortably as high up on the controller as I can at the bottom. Since the controller is very thin in the middle, it seems like it wouldn't cause much issue. But like you said, we'll have to wait to truly know. If it's not so expensive, I might have to pick one up if Home is worthy of normal access.

I rather just buy a PS2, it's only $129.99 new, used it's possibly much lower.

Well, you've had like 5 or 6 PS3s that can do BC. Just get one and be done with the complaining.

On one hand, there is finally official support on a keyboard. On the other, the design sucks. I might pick it up.

There was always official support for a keyboard. Though, it was just a normal keyboard.

So then there's no problem here.

The only problem is that your tighty whiteys shoot straight up your ass every time someone makes a comment that you perceive as negative toward the PS3.

Oops, meant wireless, compact and portable keyboard akin to the controller and console experience. I've looked for bluetooth keyboards and most of them don't work well.

I only wear boxers. But I hate when people bitch about a newer product when what they want is currently available.
