Looks to have that classy Leica design. I'm sure some people will hate it because it doesn't have the traditional pentaprism hump.

Whoa.. they are the same company as Leica Geosystems. http://www.leica.com/index.html They make terrible remote sensing software that we have to use for class.

While I don't like their software so much, IMO they make the best high-end GPS equipmwnt around. They are proud of it, though. Try $40k for a rover reciever and base station.

On a side note, running over a rover reciever with your truck is a good way to get canned. Belive me, I know from personal experience. 😛

Is there any better remote sensing software than ERDAS Imagine? I know for sure there is nothing freeware. Seems like it would be easy to create remote sensing software.

It was a few years ago in grad school we used an image analysis extension, and imagine. I havn't done any remote sensing for years though.
