I think this would be a great product, and considering the popularity of shows like 'battlebots' and 'robotica', it would probably sell pretty well.

all you need is a lego set (yes, the building blocks) that comes with several little electronic motors that can be controled by wireless remotes. (hell, even wired remotes would work) Then everyone can design their own fighting robot without any engineering experience and without very much money at all. Just fight em against eachother and watch the lego block crumble apart, then build a new one!

I used to do this when i was a kid with Robotix and had lots of fun building fighting robots.

yup. they do have that robot mindstorm thing. but dear god tat stuff is expensive!!!!
with the mindstorm set you can actually hook it up to your PC, and program the robots to do certain stuff, andthey come with all sorts of censors and junk.

If they made battle bot Legos then they would have to give money to those nerds who make them

There's a song on Dr. Demento called My Mommy Said Not to Put Beans in My Ears, so I figured why stop at beans? These wise words could be applied to any number of foreign objects. You certainly wouldn't want to get a lego? lodged in your ear canal. Does anyone know if Dr, Demento is still on?
