As soon as I saw that article in EGM I checked the spine to make sure it was the April issue. That, and the screenshots couldn't possibly be a real game (not a well-produced one, anyway). I thought it was pretty funny.

I always thought the Halo series was the sequel to the Marathon series

Halo takes place 200 years before Marathon; since Marathon obviously came out first, it would be more accurate to call Halo a prequel.
