A lot of time...

Also it took a good 8 minutes of my time.

Fucker is wasting everyone's time!

I think the most impressive part was the truck/electrical tape follower. I had to do a project like that in college and I do not remember following the tape going as smoothly as his did....

It's because it went so slow.

I did this project a couple of months ago. It was pretty easy, but the problem was that it went so fast that the lag between the sensor picking up the tape and the signal to turn was great enough that the vehicle couldn't turn left fast enough so it overshot the curve. It went right very nicely though.

Hahahaha...maybe so. Did you use fuzzy logic for your algorithm? I spent like 3 days trying to do it with brute force...then i discovered fuzzy logic...

Man, I remember my Lego Mindstorm (1.0) followed lines fairly well using the included sensors.
But yes, speed is a critical factor. If you're able to create a rover that can go really fast, it may not process it's position fast enough. I never had that problem but I never really created a crazy gearing contraption to effectively harness the torque and rotation speed.

I like the sorter that separates the basketballs from the soccerballs. that was sweet.

For all you dumb sluts who havent figured it out yet: That was the resume of a robotics expert who probably makes more money than most of you could ever hope.
