Legitimate - Good and QUIET Chipset Fan PEASE

I have my third ABIT motherboard - the IC7 MAX3. It has a very good looking chipset heatsink but the fan, being ABIT quality is already louder than 16 busted chinsaws after just 3 months.

So, who makes the highest quality but Quietest chipset fan? All of my other fans are quiet except this annoying hunk of junk.:disgust:

might be ok without any fan? just a sink like Zalman ZM-NB47J or ZM-NB32J. Which of the two is better is what i'm trying to find out.

edit: looking at your mobo there is quite a substantial heatsink & fan on there, probably mostly for show but gives me a doubt about wether the passive will do.

I have the IS7 which came with the same NB hs/f. I replaced it with the Zalman NB47J and all is well. It fits with my Zalman CPU HSF too!
