legit credit reporting source?

Just got a call the other day about some fraud activity on one of my credit cards (somebody got the number and charged a couple grand online). That's taken care of, but I'd like to check my credit rating to make sure there's nothing else out there. Who's a good and legit source for doing that? (cheap is nice too...)

Free credit report and score from Equifax (follow the instructions in the thread)

I've ordered from them multiple times and have had no problems with them at all. Highly recommended.

Dead - sweepstakes is over and I didn't see a way to get the free report. Any other good free ways out there?
