That looks like a pretty hot price for MOH. I've been playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein and love it, especially the multiplayer.

Anyone who's had experience with both of these care to comment on MOH relative to RtCW?

Thanks!

:)

MOH is VERY realistic in stark contrast to RTCW with is anything but. I have played both and liked MOH much better for its realism over the scifi/fantasy plot of RTCW. I would recommend playing both. However I didn't like the multiplayer for MOH because like Doom everyone was using a rocket launcher. Which made the game unenjoyable for a diehard CounterStrike fan. The single player is great. You go thru many true to life missions that took place. I highly recommend getting it. For the cost is a steal.

zodder,

You're going to want to fix that link. It's got somebody's information smeared all over it.

Another plug for this AWESOME game. Pick up this, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and WarCraft III and you'll be set for the summer.

As for comparisons between MoH and RTCW: They are very different games, and both are fantastic. As for realism, I'm really not sure the latter was trying to be all that realistic (half the time you're fighting zombies). But both turned out great.

GREAT timing! I downloaded the single player demo for this last night and LOVED it. Truly awesome! Best audio for weapons fire I've EVER heard. I was looking for a good deal on this today and the only thread I could find mentioning this game was from three weeks ago. Thanks for the deal. Just ordered it and even paid the extra $4.00 for overnight so I could be sure to have it by this weekend.

From what I've read, most people like the single player on this game MUCH better than RTCW (which I thought was so-so and too easy for single player.) But for multiplayer, I've heard most people prefer RTCW. Day of Defeat (Half-Life mod) is another good multiplayer option for those of you WWII junkies.

Okay, just have to post this:

I placed an order for Medal of Honor (already have it, but want to give one as a gift). EXACTLY 23 MINUTES after I clicked "submit order," I received the shipment notice with FedEx tracking information.

Do these guys rock or what? This is the only place I buy games.

Dang Monty! Maybe I should've just gone 2 day if they process things that quickly. Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky and have it in my office tomorrow afternoon. :)

I have this game and it is outstanding. I enjoyed every minute of playing it. I hope they come out with a sequel or a mission pack. You won't be disappointed. I buy consistantly from gogamer and they are the best. VERY fast shipping. A+ company.

I agree with Cleaner... There are some major differentiations between these 2 games. IMO, MoH is more slower-paced in terms of action than RtCW (not to mention you walk terrible slow in MoH). I would recommend RtCW for those who are Counter-Strike/Doom/Quake-oriented. The arsenal of bombs, weapons, and gruesome-factor as compared to MoH are outstanding.

:)

Is this only for Canada? When i went to buy MOH:AA there were only options for shipping to Canada.

Create an account, then you'll get more options. I got the same thing. After I created the account, I was able to get Fed-Ex 2nd Day for $5.99. Definately a great deal for a killer game!!

Definately worth buying at this price!!
Thanks for the heads-up!

I liked the weapons in MOH much better than WTCW. Made me feel like i was in Saving private ryan. :)

I do have to disagree about the multi with MOH. I haven't play WTCW yet multi, so I can't make a comparison, but I have recently been hooked on team play with MOH. Most of the servers I play on are more sniper fests than rocket parks. Alot of the people look down on those that use rockets or shotguns. So, much of that is squashed due to peer pressure. I have had alot of fun screwin around on Gamespy 3d (free download and buttloads of servers to play on). :D

MoH is a fascinating game....beginning to end (although i had to cheat in the very last stage in order to beat it .) I was just wondering, isnt there a sequel to MoH? How is that?

MOH is the best game ive played in years...
THE MULTIPLAYER IS NOT ROCKET LAUNCHER MANIA!!! In fact, its so tedious to use the rocket launcher, that nobody really uses it..
Its the best multiplayer out there...
Try the objective missions in multiplayer..
they rock..

I have to admit that I haven't been on the multi scene for MOH since it first came out. I'm the type that beats a game, plays the multiplayer for a few weeks and then moves on. It's like a drug habit...I'm always looking for a new fix. So the scene probably has changed. I know I hated the Rocket Arena type play. I didn't play much of the objective based missions and probably have missed out on a lot. Thanks and Good Gaming! :)

WOW! I order at roughly 4:00 in the afternoon yesterday and it's on my desk at 9:30 this morning. Not bad at all. Like I said above, if I'd known they process orders that quickly I would have just "settled" for 2-day FedEx and saved $4. Now I've got to stare at this all day until I get a chance to get home and play it. Thanks again for the great deal.

They are working on a add on pack. I believe its supposed to be out later this fall with alot more missions and weapons. I can't, for the life of me, find the link on gamespy about it. Found a link to it in HardOCP forums. Looks super cool :)

Yee-haw - just ordered it. W/ Fedex and tax it only came to $25. I can't wait to receive it.
Have any of you played Day of Defeat - the Half Life mod. I'm totally addicted to it and doubt whether MOHAA will pry me away from it, however DOD is only multiplayer and worthless when my Cable modem goes down (more and more often lately).
Also, does this game also support voice-chat?
