Legality of fixed blade knives?

Just curious - are they legal to carry around as long as the blade itself is of legal length? (I think 4" in most states) I mean when compared to knives that fold out - since it's a fixed blade would the overall length make it illegal? (I'm not talking about a Ka-Bar USMC Fighting Knife or anything - those have 7" blade lengths but something around 4")

As long as it's not concealed, they can't fvck with you, in more ways than one 😀 . . .. Anyhoo, I do believe that double-sided knives ARE indeed illegal, as opposed to a single-edge (I can't imagine why - two blades=double the killing power?

) And FYI, hunting knives, a lot of them, have blades that are longer than 4".
