Without going into detail I have a really crappy neighbor.

I will not detail what happened here, but I have had to set up some cameras around my home to keep an eye on them....and if need be, to show her P.O. why she should have her probation revoked and serve the 10 day suspended sentence she got for criminal trespassing.

I was thinking about setting up a website dedicated to them because what they do is outside in the public eye..is well, public. Are there any legalities I should be wary of in posting the daily activities and any of the videos I record of her actions? i.e. could they sue me?

repercussions

probably not (assuming this is all happening in full view in their front yard, back and inside the house would be invasion of privacy, could also be the equivalent of wiretapping or eavesdropping if there is conversation being recorded), but IANYL and you should talk to someone in your state.

if you aim it at their property, then maybe there is an issue
it you aim it at the public street, that should be ok
if it just shows your own property, that has to be ok

i dunno

My province is starting to get really tough on cyber bullying and that would probably get you in trouble here.

You need to keep this professional and not make it personal.

Collecting "video evidence" for later use by your attorney in a court of law is professional and will be looked upon by judge and jury in that manner.

Collecting "youtube video" for public display on your dedicated "hates me crappy neighbor" website will most certainly NOT be looked upon favorably by judge and jury should you find yourself needing to leverage such material to press your legal cause in a court of law.

And yes, invasion of privacy will be used against you (in any and all cases) if you do what you propose (even if it is video of only your premises) unless you have clearly posted signs stating the premises are under video surveillance.
