Legal Question...

Lets say you're sitting in your house, and you see some kid throw a rock at your car window and break it. You run out the door, chase the kid down and tackle him. Can you legally contain the kid until the police come, like keep him in your house and not let him leave?

Yes. It's called Citizen's Arrest. As long as you don't beat him or something and only use force necessary to keep him from escaping you can hold him.

I think. Not a lawyer.

That's what I would do personally, but I'm no legal expert so don't listen to me 😛

I would also slap the sh!t out of that punk for being a dumbass.

you should break his kneecaps to make sure he doesn't get away. maybe his arms too ,so he can't crawl either
