I took one look at your post and was about to make a comment about Armchair lawyers. Luckily, I saw who posted it first 😀

1) Paragraphs are your friend, as 10 other people have told you. And maybe you'd be getting more helpful responses if you had bothered to organize the stuff in your post and not throw in random rants everywhere that were completely irrevelant.

2) You neglected to ever mention if you DID owe them the $770. IE how much rent you should have to pay them as stated in your lease. And you know what? If your lease says you owe them that money, chances are good that you do.

3) Being a tenant sucks. Almost everywhere. Learn to deal with it. You are whining about things that are outside your landlord's control. If you want to get anywhere in this situation (and in life) you need to learn to focus on the actual problems that you have that are resolveable. IE whether or not you owe them $770. The fact that 3 people were killed nearby has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

4) Way to be your average american idiot, wanting to sue somebody over nothing. Why don't you use your legal desires to learn to read a lease, instead

2) neglected to mention if I did owe them $770
eh, no.... I've already stated several times that I have a receipt which shows I've paid everything off through the end of this month. I don't owe them anything.
