Here's a legal question:
Let's say I have a web server. On that server are "copyrighted" files, let's say for example there's a file called "Lord of the Rings DVD Rip.avi" Nobody can download this file, but they can see that it's on the server (only the server owner has the password for access privelege). The file isn't actually Lord of the Rings, it's just 2GB of random characters.
Have any laws been broken? Can a ISP or company/organization legally shut the site down?
