A co-worker came up to me today and asked if I could tutor her step daughter. Her parents kicked her out of the house when they heard that the co-worker's step-daughter went to Pittsburgh with her. The kid is 17. Isn't htere a law against that? They threw her clothes out the door and all of her stuff.

Yes, if the child is under 18 it's illegal to throw them out of the house. Child services ftw.
