Erm, how on earth is accountancy unethical? I'm an accountant and I spend my working day helping local small businesses and sole traders operate and arrange their finances.
Businesses that use reverse engineering to figure out a competitors product, and then change a few things to avoid patent infringement.

Exactly. There are so few truly original ideas out there... just minor improvements of existing ones.
Anyone who doesn't believe that probably thinks that Apple actually "invented" the smart phone or the tablet. They didn't... they just made the first improved models that didn't suck for various reasons.
