I'm presenting Ruth Bader Ginsburg's life with a 3d-courtroom presentation but I also need to prepare a short biography of her life in legal brief format. Just wondering, what the hell is legal brief format? I thought it was a way to present a case summary, or is it a strict way of writing something out like a business letter that we learn in school. A couple of searches on google haven't provided much. Thx

It is not strict... I've never personally written one. I've seen many written in this way for lawyers and judges.

Best of luck... that may not be what your prof wants.... I have never seen a bio written up as a brief.

I will say this.... briefs are supposed to be written in a clear and concise manner. Try to keep it easy and quick to read. Eliminate unnecessary words (like "that").
