legal advice

I have a manage a web site for company a. the address is companya.com

before companya.com existed a former employee had created a temporary page at companya.tripod.com

tripod will not cancel this account and delete this temporary page because company a does not have the registration info because the former employee is no longer with us.

Since company a has the legal right to use the name "company a" is it possible to send a legal letter to tripod asking them to comply with the removal of companya.tripod.com as it is infringing on the copyright/trademark of companya.com
