legacy devices? what are they

i've been trying to make my computer legacy free.

so far, printer with printer cable upgraded to usb printer
palm m100 with serial connection upgraded to sony clie with usb

is a floppy considered legacy?
what about vga monitors?
and any other devices i didnt mention?

Floppy drives are legacy devices in my opinion. I like to keep them around just in case though. Of course, bootable CDs are much more commonplace now.
