Leg cramps! :thumbsdown;

I woke up this morning with cramps in BOTH of my calves.
My leg muscles tightened up like solid rock. The pain was blinding.
It still hurts to walk, now 3 1/2 hours later. 🙁
I haven't had a cramp in a long time, and I have NEVER had cramps in both my legs at the same time.
Please post your sympathetic comments below. 😉

I get em in one leg occasionally. While your having the cramp, stretch the muscle. It'll hurt a little more but will make it go away faster.

Yeah, I did that.
I think the muscle is badly bruised now, I can barely walk.

pshh. I overdosed on a prescription medication a few years ago, and for 2 days straight, every muscle in my body would cramp every few minutes.

Imagine that pain in your one leg, but now apply it to your neck, your fingers, your legs, your toes, your abs, and do it nonstop for two days.

There was nothing they could do for me at the ER besides tell me to drink a ton of fluids.

Calcium + Potassium are your friend in most cases. Bayer Back and Body Pain helps until the minerals get going.

1. Hot bath to relax the muscles.
2. Eat a couple bananas (they contain potassium which is good for the muscle to ease cramps)
3. Light stretching of the muscles.
4. Take 2 Ibuprofen.

🙂
