over the years of collecting new computer/auto hardware, it's become too much. But here is a list of hardware that i don't have a lot of use for. I'm just wondering if there are some kewl mods that anyone knows of that can be performed to these devices instead of selling them. :)

-2 ford probe tires/rims
-sony 6-disk cd changer
-aiwa car mp3 player via mp3CDR's
-lexamark color printer
-apple printer
-kenwood discman (maybe use the laser 4 something?)
-musicman discman
-bike rack
-wilson profile tenis raquet
-Asus K7M motherboard Slot A
-complete Dell pentium 200mhz w/ 64mb ram, 17'' monitor, altec lansing speakers(2) & subwoofer, western digital ~3.2GB caviar ide hard drive, toshiba cdrom, floppy disk, sound blaster, u.s. robotics 56k modem, & linksys etherfast 10/100 NIC.

Nope. Dead serious. Beats the poster-size framed hula-dancer my mom put on the wall after blowing it up from someone's reject vacation photo (She STILL won't let me get rid of it!!!). Besides, I've seen FAR worse: a "wrap-around" wall COVERED with motherboards (some so old they are PRE IBM XT era, some even have PentiumII Slot1's like my Asus). To top it off, they have sculptures of people heads sticking through them & LED string lights running through everything. It's actually quite stupid when you see it! It was at a computer shop I ran into in Carrollton, GA (Anyone here seen what I'm talking about?)...

One possbile mod for the color printer (assuming it's an inkjet): convert it to so that it can print on printable CD-Rs. I've never tried it, but if óne could rework the "paper" handling and transport to deal with discs that...

Apple printer: if it's a Laserwriter II or newer laser printer it might be usefull for printing (that took long to figure out;) ) - with a bit of tweaking almost all of them can be hooked up to PCs.

Use for the Dell should be ovious: there must be a place or room in the house where you don't have net access yet. Stick it there ;).

Tennis racket: play air guitar of course. Use one of the 2 discmen to play the soundtrack ;).

And if you want to use *all* of the stuff at the same time: set up a real live 3D game of "The Incredible Machine" in the backyard ;).

Some of those things might have a career ahead of them as targets for things such as spudguns, rifles, shotguns, et cetera.

See movie: Office Space (Plenty of PC hardware stress relieving. From Mike Judge's (The creator of "Beavis & Butthead" & "King of the Hill") comic strip. Stupid movie, but it has Jen Aniston & the computer-bashing scene is fun (Since it's not worth paying for, do you want the DiVX rip? :p)

why not just ebay all that stuff, then you get rid of it and get a few bucks to buy more stuff.

hehe, thanks. Yeah, i've been meaning to have a web page with titles of the hardware as links to pictures instead of having them all on one page.
