I've had this for nearly 4 1/2 years... but the Cambridge Soundworks DTT 2500 5.1 is still a great system. I've just been having problems for awhile that anytime when i change the volume, the left speaker sound goes on and off until I fine tune the volume for nearly a minute. The speakers themselves are fine...switched them around....so I can only assume its the controller/equalizer amp. Is there a way to fix this or is anyone out there selling replacement parts.. checked out lots of sites....nada....just reviews. Could it be that some of the wiring inside or connections have gone bad? I'd love to save this for awhile longer, as its better than most entry level 5.1 systems.

You probably have some dirt inside the volume pot which is causing the problem. Here's something you can try at your own risk.

Get some tuner cleaner from Radio Shack, open up your Cambridge, and spray the cleaner inside the volume pot (as best as you can) while turning the knob vigorously back and forth.
