left shift key causes computer to shut down

for some reason, when i push my left shift key, the shutdown dialog appears and shuts down my comp. this just started happening tonight!!!

running windows xp sp1
 
Ok I found the problem. I checked my task manager and there was this weird program. I forgot the name but I looked it up and it turns out it's some type of program for tablets so I ended it and now my shift works again!! I'm sure it'll show up again when I reboot. That's when I'll figure out how to get rid of it permanantly.
