Water's cheap.
not everywhere
And wont be once they mass produce cars to run on it, then water will be 15 billion a gallon, and you will be fined for capturing rain water and filtering it to run in your car, it be like back in prohibition with the feds busting open water barrels in the streets, and we have speak easies in bars so you can fill your car to get home. Tap water will be banned and forced to take a steam shower to get cleaned like washers are now doing, because water will be rationed to your house for just enough to get a shower, do some dishes, and a few gallons to drink, other then that you cant get any more water for the feds will have it all set up so they can make money off what the world produces for free so you can run it in your car.
Id be anything this is why we dont have cars that run on water mass produced, they are still figuring out a way they can screw up so that we have to pay for it.
But on a real note, it all depends on what your given for your $35~ a month bill, and then read your bill statement for it will tell you how much it is per gallon if you go over your monthly quota.
Then go turn your sprinkler on, and watch how much on the meter goes for 5 minutes, then x that by 12 for there are 12 5 minutes spots per hour, then times that x 12 hours, to give you how many gallons you wasted in the 12 hours stretch you left it on, then x that by how much the water company charges you when you go over your quota, and add that to your normal bill, and there is your answer
