Left Control being a pain

For some reason, my left control key is really giving me problems. I noticed it when I was playing Battlefield 2, I had it set for the sprint key, and just one day it stopped working. When I try to sprint my guy just keeps walking and nothing else happens. I thought it was another program detecting the key, but I don't think thats the problem. When I got back into Windows, I was going to press CTRL+ALT+DEL and see if there were any weird apps running, but it wouldn't work. I tried it with the right Control and right Alt, and it worked fine. I figured my Control key was just not working so I tried some shortcut keys like CTRL+C and they worked fine. I have no idea whats wrong. I tried reinstalling the drivers for my keyboard and that didn't work either. I have a Saitek Gamers Keyboard, and Windows XP x64 bit Edition. I didn't do anything to make this start happening, it just did. I don't know if its Windows or my keyboard, but the little command pad that came with my keyboard I have binded to some Winamp commands that include left CTRL and they work fine, but I can't do them on my keyboard. I've already tried disabling those commands and turning off winamp, so thats not the problem, not to mention I've had them on before and they didn't cause any problems.

Try another keyboard first to see if that eliminates the problem if it does. Posibly a bad keyboard or just a driver issue in XP 64
