Left Channel in Speaker wont work...

The left channel wont produce any sound...
Ive tried different speakers and get the same result so I'm assuming its the sound card.
But I dont see why the sound card would just stop working like that.

anyone know whats up?
 
its weird...when I pull the jack out of the soundcard slightly I can hear some sound from the left channel...but when its all the way in only the right side works.

I thought it could be the connector so I tried a different one, but I still have the same result.
 
Does your sound card have a line-out jack, in addition to the speaker jack? It sounds like the plug for the speaker jack (on the sound card) is bad, try using the line-out to plug the speakers in.
