Yeah I been missing him in Left 4 Dead 2 thankfully we can finally get him once the DLC comes out!

I don't what it is but Bill is so cool all the original Left 4 Dead characters were and still are! They made playing campaigns so much fun!
 
If the game is as fun as the trailer makes it look its going to be sweet. I too also like the original characters better than the ones in L4D2. Although the redneck Kid (forget his name now) is rather funny.

Ellis. Nick (the con artist in the suit) is also fairly funny, sort of the comic relief like Francis. Coach fails at taking over Bill's job, and Rochelle is very hard to like, unlike Zoey.

Overall, the original cast was 100x better. I like Nick's negativity better than Francis (some of the things Nick says strike me as being more "realistic" in the given situation), but Francis was funnier and more likable overall. They made Ellis a little too much of a redneck for my tastes, and made him get TOO exited about stupid crap that you wouldn't care about in a real disaster (Omg Jimmy Gibbs Jr. was here!) Coach takes on the mentor / group leader roll, but doesn't have that pissed off, you're all a bunch of young idiots attitude like Bill did - which makes you feel like he really knew what he was doing. Rochelle is just... annoying. Zoey was cute. 😛

i believe valve still owe us episode 3... episode 2 came out in 2007... valve said that the whole point of episodic games was short development time. 3 years? come on already! screw left 4 dead! not that it's not good, but i focus on what's important!
 
Is anyone else going to play Left 4 Dead 1 again too because of this DLC on Tuesday ? Curious.

I plan on playing both but Left 4 Dead 2 first I think. Not sure yet. Depends on if I see a huge number of players on Left 4 Dead 1 as well. If so I may try Left 4 Dead 1 first while the going is good to get my one last sweet time with the Left 4 Dead 1 community. I am just glad I bought the first game the day it came out and didn't miss anything! Anyone remember when there was different versus difficulty the first few weeks when Left 4 Dead 1 was released ? Valve should really bring that back. I miss it. Still don't know why they took it away. Oh well.
 
Valve needs to release an update that allows those who own both games to access all the maps and both communities from L4D2. I liked 1 better, but 2 has more players online.

I like both but prefer 1 as well. Mainly for campaigns though. Has anyone played the new full custom campaign for Left 4 Dead 1 Dead Before Dawn ? http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=7171 It is much better than the first release I hear but I never tired that one. Everything is custom in the campaign. Based off the Dawn of the Dead 2004 remake!
