you think a mod will come out that will do the following?
*Codename: RomeroMod*

Zombies don't run after you, but they exist in packs and will attract to you the same way they currently do.

Get rid of the uber-zombies, make them all walking corpses.

Make ammo SEVERLY limited

Up the zombie count tremendously

Make survival panic style, jump into a house and survive for 5 minutes, barricade yourself in panic style and hope to ride out the storm.

I don't know. I like having the zombies able to run.

What I want for a mod is more campaigns and some more selection of weapons.

I think more variety in the "super" zombies is needed. A boss that looks like a normal infected but with much more hp. Not crazy high but enough to disrupt survivors in a closet... as of right now the tank is the only counter to the closet camping.

the problem with flamethrowers is that they look nice but they don't do damage; you kill zombies by shooting them in the head or breaking the neck, its like using it against a tank(real tank, not the zombie tank), all you'll do is wreck the paint, it takes way to long before you can cook the crew with it

want weapons? i'd say look at dead space, cut them to bits, don't bother with flesh wounds

Why would people camp in a closet? The whole idea is to get to the end, if they camp in a closet they will slowly die and lose HP over time. If this is versus you can coax them out by making "in the closet" jokes etc.

a few more weapons would be nice. and def. more levels. it would be fun if the hordes lasted longer. maybe not so much quantity of them, but longevitiy of there attacks.

In the finales, if you camp in the closet when special infected and hordes are attacking you can kill them before they can hit anyone by just getting all 4 players to cover the closet doorway. Then you rush out when a tank comes and try and kill it before it kills too many, then run back to the closet and kill the next wave, then when the rescue vehicle comes you rush out of the closet again to get to the rescue vehicle.

It's much easier to kill hordes when you only have to cover a single doorway.

It works, the tank is the only counter.

A. it really dosn't take that long to burn flesh and muscles away, leaving the zombies without a means of locomotion...

B. L4D already employs flame based weapon in molotovs and ignitable gas cans which will instantly pacify any regular zombies that are set on fire

Yeah a flame thrower would be awesome, the danger of FF would be a great dynamic!

Sounds cool but I don't know if that would be that good of a weapon. Hunters can still attack when on fire.

Ah finales! yeah i can see how camping would be useful there, didnt think about the finales.

calling the elevator in no mercy. Get in the closest and you take almost no damage. 2 in front with shottie/melee. 2 in back with whatever they have.

Pfft, forget the BFG, where's my Rail Gun?

Might as well go for the Redeemer (yet another different game)
