Left 4 Dead - How to play as infected in single player mode against the bots?

I want to be able to play as the infected against survivor bots in single player mode to try out new spots and see what works good. I have searched to find how to do it, but everything I have tried does not work.

This guide below was the best, but the director_no_human_zombies 0 command does not work, so I guess there is no way to do it now or what?

Also, before one of you posts a link on how to do it, make sure you try it for yourself, because I have tried several ways and nothing will work.

Doesn't work, like I said try it before you post it, most likely doesn't work. The command director_no_human_zombies 0 does not work....invalid command.

When I hit m to switch teams, doesn't let me, nothing comes up.

director_no_human_zombies got eliminated from one of the latest patches. This is from
Steam Forums

in console:

sv_cheats 1
mp_gamemode versus
sb_all_bot_team 1

then hit "m" to be infected

z_spawn tank

to be tank or whatevers u want to be

if you don't want to type those commands out every time you play, you can put them in your autoexec.cfg file found in SteamApps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\cfg. if the file is not there, you can create it and open it with notepad.

alias "sp_versus" "sv_cheats 1; director_force_versus_start; mp_gamemode versus; sb_all_bot_team 1;"
bind "f1" "sp_versus"
bind "f2" "jointeam 2"
bind "f3" "jointeam 3"
bind "f4" "toggle sb_hold_position"
bind "f5" "z_spawn hunter auto"
bind "f6" "z_spawn smoker auto"
bind "f7" "z_spawn boomer auto"
bind "f8" "z_spawn tank auto"

with the above commands, you can:
press f1 to start single player versus mode
press f2 to switch to survivor team (needed to start crescendo events)
press f3 to switch to infected team
press f4 to make ai survivors stand in place (very useful for practicing hunter pouncing)
press f5 to spawn as a hunter
press f6 to spawn as a smoker
press f7 to spawn as a boomer
press f8 to spawn as a tank

Goddammit people. It's "segue". A "Segway" is the thing with two wheels that you ride around on and look like a tool. The name is a pun. To get the pun, you have to be familiar with the real word, which, again, is "segue".

Anyway, I thought the link was fine, since the OP was linking to the site anyway. I think the people complaining missed that.
