Yeah, they fixed the server capacity problems over Live this past weekend. I didn't have any problems when I last played Sunday night. I've heard the PC side still has some lagginess though.

Oh, I won't be buying any games for myself until after Christmas. All my money is going toward Christmas presents for others right now. Hopefully, there will be some nice deals early in the year.

The PC side isn't bad, however, i'm not sure if I like the "pick best dedidicated server". You basically connect to a no name server with various pings.
 
Found out last night while playing, Daz Germans got a rambo knife for preordering instead of the bat. Anyone else see these yet?
 
Got the GUARDIN' GNOME achievement tonight with a friend for escorting Gnome Chompski to the Dark Carnival chopper. Good stuff. We had some trouble with Chapter 4 but somehow managed to complete Chapter 5 in one go.
 
Highly ineffective habits of unsuccessful L4D2 players in expert mode:

1. Using medkits without being in black-and-white screen and end up incapacitated seconds later
2. "Horde event? LETS STAY IN THE OPEN AND MELE-". Player X is incapacitated.
3. "ZOMG GRANATE LUNCHER LETS SHOOT IT UNDER MY FEET" Player X is incapacitated.
4. "Must. Shoot. Every. Flammable. Cans in sight" Player X is incapacitated.
5. "CI's on my back? Nothing to worry about, 20 damage per hit every second is perfectly acceptable" Player X is incapacitated.

Well it's the same as the first so yea.
 
Had a team mate tell me about a bolt action sniper rifle, different then the original sniper rifle as well. He thought it was from German players as well. According to him he sent friend requests to the guys he was playing with, but none accepted. Might of been pulling my leg on that one, or he had to much to drink that day.
 
Woot! Finally got the achievements for surviving 5 campaigns on expert and one campaign on realism expert.

If you wanna do realism expert I suggest Swamp Fever; its by far the easiest out of the 5 since it has no unlimited wave crescendos with a really easy finale.
 
Did you do it legit, or use the easy/expert switch glitch? Doesnt bother me either way, I used the glitch to get the realism achievement. I just need to hurry up and get all the expert ones before they fix that glitch because doing it legit is HARD!

100% legit. All the campaigns except Dark Carnival are pretty manageable on Expert, especially once you figure out the best spots to camp in...so why cheat? lol.
