I use leechguy on windows to download usenet binaries... i've tried a bunch of different programs for mac and the best i've found so far is unison.. but even with that I can't see all the binaries like I can in leechguy. What do you all use to download usenet binaries?

edit: crap.. can someone move this to the apple forum

gotta agree with powermac, unison is a little weird at first when u dont know how to use it but once u learn it , its probably the best newsreader ive used, probably better than xnews.

I'm personally a fan of GrabIt running under Wine. Leechguy may work under it too.

Has anyone used sabnzb or hellanzb. They look a little confusing (as they run under terminal) but look HIGHLY customizable and seem to automaticly unpar/unrar/split/concat etc which is NICE compared to the dang Unison + MacParDeluxe system I got going now. Do either of these support SSL (I use giganews 😛 ) or is there a better os x app like them for nzb downloading + unparing etc.

The thing I dislike about Unison is its not built for that. When you click the icon it opens up the usenet browser, not the transfer window and its not really made for binary downloading I dont think.
