LEDs behind the gauge cluster and HVAC controls?

Been debating putting blue LEDs behind the old halogens in my gauge cluster and HVAC controls. Would go from looking like the first pic, to what shows in the 2nd pic. What do you guys think? Debating if it looks ricer, or slick? Def trying to stay away from a ricer look.

I like red. Doesn't kill your night vision. That's the color I used in my car.

Green and red are the popular choices for good reason.

Also that's waaaaay too bright for any color. Though I could make factory lights look like laser beams with the right camera settings...but if that's an accurate in-person representation...too much.

Red or green is the better choice and the brightness needs to go down. You want it just bright enough to do the job, without the glare.
