LED TV's

Samsung UN46B7000 vs. UN46B8000

These are two beautiful looking LED TVs that I have been looking at purchasing. The difference from what I can tell boils down to this.

Differences from series 7k to 8k:

$300.00 ? not a huge consideration when you laying out a few grand for a TV.

Contrast Ratio from 3,000,000:1 to 5,000,000:1 ? From what I?ve read so far if you have a single candle burning in the room with you anything over 500:1 becomes unnoticeable to the human eye. I don?t know if that?s a fact, but would like to hear some opinions on that.

Auto Motion Plus 120 HZ to 240 HZ ? This is, I believe, Samsung trademark language for motion interpolation, or getting rid of the blur on fast moving images. On this I?m very confused and I?ve seen a wide rang of discussions, mostly around the jump from 60 ZH to 120 Hz being great, but having nothing to do with Motion interpolation. I?ve also seen posts in which people claim Motion Flow / Cine Motion / Auto Motion Plus is everything from fantastic to just turn it off. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? And, more over, is the jump from 120 Hz to 240 Hz the next great resolution leap, or is it the next numbers game that the human eye won?t be able to pick up, unless it?s under ?better than optimal? conditions?

Thanks

flashlighting issues (uneven backlighting, backlight bleeding from the corners).
many owners complaining that side lit LED panels not ready for prime time. some going with the older 950 back lit local dimming models or waiting for the 9000.
plasma owners coming in proclaiming plasma's PQ superiority over LCD.

but the big one seems to be the uneven back light issues.

You rock!!!

I always thought that LED backlighting was going to be matrix LED backlighting such that each pixel had a single LED behind it to individually and independently provide light. None of this side-LED BS...
