LED Case Mod Question

I'm looking to create an LED picture with about 100 LEDs on the side of a case. I'd like to power them through a molex from the PSU. How would I go about changing the molex in to something useful? Should the LEDs be wired in a parallel or series circuit? Thanks!

oh wow GY your a mod there?? 😱

anyhow wanted to see the answer for this as well, and you took care of it! 😀

They didn't know what they were doing when they offered it to me. 😉
I have been taught to accept the goodies in life with a thank you.
To be helpful to some and harmful to none. 🙂

Thanks for the link GY. Lots of good ideas. Any specific instructions on harnessing the psu power though?

The only LED work I have done has been to replace componets or add those little spot- light like doo-hickies.

I have poped a number of LEDs before I learned they won't servive 5V. http://led.linear1.org/myth-of-the-5-volt-led/

Do your homework first, then if no one here can/will come foreward here, post at badcaps and I am sure pentium or MD Willington will come into your post. Homework first. 🙂
