LED backlit monitors

Anyone know if there are any LED backlit LCD monitors on the market yet, in the 20 to 24 inch size range? I saw that Dell came out with new monitors for the 20-22 inch range for 2008, but it did not specify the type of backlight used in the specs.

There is the Samsung XL20 - a 20" 4:3 LED with 114% NTSC. There are also 24" and 30" WS models, but I think it'll cost you a leg 😛

The Samsung XL20 is the one to get if you got the cash and don't mind the noise the 40mm fan makes and at least twice the power consumption to normal LCDs.

Why would an LED monitor use twice the power? Sorry for my ignorance in the subject, but I thought LEDs where the most efficient light emitters out there.
