Well, the title pretty much says it all. My dad and I are heading down to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area tomorrow for 4 days for the Barret Jackson Car Auction. We'll be staying about half an hour away from Westworld and I'm just looking to see what there is to do or places to go when were not at the auction. I'm particularly looking for good places to eat so we don't have to bum off of fast food restaurants every day (ick). However, if there's cool attractions, or places that we should visit too that's a bonus.

Were coming from the East Coast (Upstate NY area) so I'm not sure about what fast food restaurants are available down there as opposed to here. Anyways, any recommendations/advice is appreciated, thanks!:cookie:

There's got to be skiing in Arizona. Take a few lessons. The weather is likely beautiful during the day.

Rancho de Tia Rosa in Mesa.

I'd recommend the Chicken Mole or Grilled Salmon Enchiladas.

Don't know what "Westworld" is but go to Kierland Commons in Scottsdale.. Took my ex out to Morton's steakhouse there once, very nice place.

Desert Botanical Gardens (right there in town)
Arizona Sonora Desert Museum (just west of Tucson)

I'd rather go downtown and get a steak at Durant's. Very cool atmosphere
