I wanted to see how much voicemail my Google Voice account can handle. This is my number and not anyone else's: (813) 508-7086. Leave whatever you feel like saying. You can stay anonymous if you like (note that your number will show up on my account page). Leave a rant, a comment, or whatever. I might post the interesting ones here.

If you're wondering, this number is just a dummy number that I use as my telemarketer catcher. It also serves a purpose as my international calling service on my cellphone.

Well, I only got two messages from here. I did get some messages for a Spanish lottery (?). One thing I notice is that the voice-to-text feature still needs some work. One message was "I'm leaving a message after the tone" and was transcribed as "I'm leaving a message afterthought". The other message was kind of funny. Something about "mortuary, you stab 'em we slab 'em. Some go to heaven, some go to hello mortuary...". GV had it transcribed as "Thank you for calling. I got mortuary you problem with the lab. I'm gonna have a I'm gonna how well how to get Mortuary"

Well, thanks for the calls. They were amusing.

Yeah, the speech to text is iffy but you usually can get the general idea. It's nice to use a GV number for contests and such online, helps weed out spam from your REAL number.

LOL. Wow. My first one was "I'm leavnig you a message." or something similar.

My second one was done with a gay voice going "Thank you for calling Hacket's Mortuary. You stab'em we slab'em. Some go to heaven some go to -HELLooooooo Hacket's Mortuary..."

Google Voice sucks at translating gay voices lol

I'm also calling from a very loud lab at Intel; there's a LOT of background noise. Maybe I'm just not very good at immitating the gay voice, but it was supposed to be over the top.

I forgot to check my voicemail. I've updated the original post to include the actual messages and Google's transcription. Some of the messages cracked me up... Thanks! :)

God, those transcripts suck. Google apparently isn't king of voice to text :p
