pop the sun roof.

and well, cloth seats rule when they are also heated. now thats awesome.

 I especially like how mine have 4 levels of "toast"😛😉

what i do is leave the sun roof tilted...
then use the audi key thing that opens all the windows and let it chill for a minute or so then hop in!

At home I do nothing, at work I crack the sunroof and possibly open all my windows all the way if I don't think it'll rain. It's a small hike back to the car if it does 🙂

Prevent it? LOL...Does not compute. 😀

My car is like a heat sponge 🙁

Clean your car man, that's just nasty!

I know, I have to vacuum too. Sucks, cause I just did it a few weeks ago! EVERYTHING shows up on black carpet 🙁

I'm starting to feel your pain. I just bought a car with a black interior....tan seats and brown carpets are so much more forgiving!

what kinda car you drive? mine has 3 levels i believe, of course ive only had the car in the summer so no use for them yet. but that rear seat warmer might come in handy 😀

i would suggest not cracking the windows...just cause if its humid at all or pollution in the air it just eats away at the leather. I bought one of those beeded seat covers and that helped a ton, they stay pretty cool and keep you from sticking to the seat...but make sure to take em off in the winter and condition the leather often or else its just as bad as direct sunlight 😛

i open the sunroof and crack open the windows a bit.

if you really want the interior to last, i suggest you use lexol and/or 303 aerospace protectant on the leather. i usually do this every 3 or 4 weeks.

No, I don't leave windows cracked open

1. My car has a light colored leather so it stays at least a tiny bit cooler then dark leather.
2. I used to have all but the windshield tinted, (up till I got ticketed for it, even though it was like it when I purchased the car) The tint blocked a lot of the light, and kept the car significantly cooler. This was up to a month or so ago, so I'm still adjusting to having to wear sunglasses, etc. The rear windshield, and rear side windows are still tinted, so aprox 50% of the window surface doesn't let more heat in.
3. What if it rains and is very windy?

i keep my windows cracked, though not necessarily for the sake of the leather. dark car without airflow makes it like opening an oven on a hot day, which sucks. i also have a tint, and beige leather.

Leave the AC switch in the on position... then remote start the car a few minutes before you go out to it.
