Leather furniture for the new house

I was just shopping around for furniture and it is so damn expensive. I saw this beautiful well made brown leather couch for $1799. I am in no way cheap but am frugal and always look for the best deal.

It is extremely comfortable and I dont want to over spend. Is it insanity to spend ~2000 for a sofa and loveseat? I dont want anything from Ikea as it just isnt made as well, but for the sake of a good deal Should I get something cheaper?

$1800 is not too much. My parents paid $1500 for a sofa and $1000 for a loveseat. while i paid $750 for both, leather as well. there's just a big range of quality.

My leather sofa and loveseat cost around $2,000 for both. Very soft and comfy. About 5 years old and still looks new. Well worth the cost.

My stuff was made by Benchcraft. I live in Tupelo, MS and there is a ton of funriture manufacturing in the area. I bought my stuff from their factory outlet store. They have a store locator on the web site.

Leather suite if made well, will last at least 2 times longer than any other material. No staining, no wrinkles.

Can be cold to sit on those sometimes.

Yeah, our couch and chair was around $3K. Nice Italian made...problem is it was for our "reception" room, and nobody's allowed to use it except for company. WTF did I spend 3K on guest seating for????

Is it $1799 just for the couch? Or is it $2000 for the couch and loveseat?

$2000 for a brand new quality leather couch and loveseat is not expensive at all.
