I went to my local Office Max yesterday to see how that chair looks and couldn't see any chair for 59.98$. Manager comes by and asks me what I am looking for, so I explain the deal on the website.
Manager tells me that quite often they don't get the deals offered on the website, and then tells me I can pick any 99$ chair and he will honor the 59$ price. I was just speechless, nothing like this has ever happened to me. They had quite a few 99$ chairs, so I was test sitting them for about 30 minutes, picked the best one, the manager came over and entered the price. 40$ off a chair that I got to pick. Now that is service! Oh and this happened in St.Cloud, Minnesota 🙂

 
I ordered a Fabric Manager's chair off officemax.com for $60 a couple weeks ago. Lo and Behold, a Fabric Exec chair ($80) shows up. I wasn't expecting much for $60 (just something to hold me over since my current chair had completely broken), but the Fabric Exec chair really rocks. At $80, it's a definite bargain. Or you could do what I did and hope to get lucky. 😉
 
I received the same email...........hiked on over to the B&M and sat on every chair they had. I did not really like any of the chairs on special, but found another chair I liked that was $99. Went home, did a search, used the $25 off $100 (added some rubber bands to my order so that it exceeded $100) and bought a chair that has a 20 year guarantee. Nice!!
 
still looking for a high back chair with good padding around $35-50 after coupon....

previous thread on AT indicate that they are built cheap and the padding wear out quickly....

That $79 chair used to hit $79 every month or two - nothing real special. Not sure which chair that $99 one is though. FYI - at least before I quit last year, all of OMX's leather chairs had pretty short seats - you might want to go in store and sit in them before you order one.
 
It's not possible to use both the coupon and the 4% back from ebates.
If you go from ebates, the coupon box won't show up.

So 25% off (coupon) OR 4% back from ebates... which one would you rather have??? 🙂
 
The $99 chair is actually really comfortable. I ordered 2 of them. The Officemax guy said that is designed for long use up to 8hrs at a time. With the $25 coupon this make this chair an amazing deal.
 
so is it 99-50 instant rebate and you can use the 25 off coupon or is it just 99. after the 50 instant rebate?

I have to second this.. I got the $99 chair, and it took me about 10 minutes to put it together.. definately better than my old chair.. it is *very* comfortable..

Not being a thread crapper, but hasn't anyone else been disappointed with the service from OM?

I ordered the lexmark e210 deal twice through them to two different addresses and both times they screwed up and ended up cancelling the order.

Not an officemax fan...
