Least Overhead for Router Security?

Just wondering if anyone's done some tests on overhead performance using these settings:

1.) WEP

2.) WPA

3.) WPA-PSK

4.) WPA-TKIP

5.) WPA-AES

6.) WPA2

7.) WPA2-PSK

8.) Invisible Mode

9.) Mac Filtering

If you were to rate those 9 from least overhead to most, how would your list go?

Obviously if your house is isolated and/or you're in a very low-risk neighborhood, you wouldn't care about the strength of security, but rather, what security gives the best performance (aside from no security).

All the same. Just use WPA2-AES with a pre-shared key. Performance is all the same unless you have really old access point/card. No point in no broadcasting the SSID, recommended that you do to avoid compatibility problems.

Mac Filtering and Invisible Mode, are Not security features.

As for the rest, old WEP tasks the Wireless, otherwise (as Spidey posted) it does not matter.

What is this "Invisible Mode? " Sounds kind of neat:D

I believe he means not broadcasting the SSID

In other words, "my wifi isn't working and I don't know why mode".
